The Drove allotments consist of approximately 100 plots situated naturally just off   The Drove, in Andover, Hampshire, at present most of the plots are occupied, it not all well tended, the site at the moment is under the stewardship of Andover Town Council, who allocate plots, there is a waiting list, but anyone wanting a plot is still advised to inquire as to availability, several plots at the moment appear to left to “mature” or are unoccupied, so anyone wanting a plot is advises to contact the council and apply well before the growing season starts.

The association is volunteer run and encourages those with allotments on The Drove site to join and become active members, in return the association offers members a variety of incentives to join, not least reductions in the cost of seeds,compost and other gardeners accessories during the growing season.

Committee meetings are held regularly from February to the AGM in November,all members are encouraged to attend the AGM when the election of officers for the coming season takes place.

In order to improve the site, the association is making steps to take over the maintenance of the site from the Andover Town Council.
